From a powerful idea to a coherent founding architecture

Some founders lack ideas.

Others carry an entire living system within them—but its parts have grown too numerous, interconnected or difficult to communicate clearly.

The Founder Systems Blueprint Sprint is designed for the latter.

Offered through Officina Fulminis, the Consulting House of Fulmen Amethystinum, this focused engagement helps founders gather the scattered pieces of an emerging venture, project or institution and arrange them into one coherent founding blueprint.

It is not a generic business-coaching session. Nor is it a prewritten template with a new name placed upon the cover.

It is a concentrated act of listening, observation and systems architecture.

Who is this for?

The Founder Systems Blueprint Sprint may be suitable for a founder who:

  • carries a strong idea but struggles to explain the whole system;
  • has accumulated documents, concepts and moving parts without a clear architecture;
  • needs to distinguish the central purpose from secondary possibilities;
  • is preparing to speak with collaborators, advisors, developers or funders;
  • feels that the project has become too large to hold entirely within the mind; or
  • needs a practical path from vision into organised movement.

The idea does not need to be perfectly formed before the engagement begins.

That is rather the point.

The Sprint

The engagement begins with a short founder questionnaire followed by one focused 90-minute discovery and systems-architecture session.

During this session, we explore:

  • the problem the founder has observed;
  • the purpose of the proposed venture or system;
  • the people, communities or institutions it is intended to serve;
  • the founding principles that must not be lost;
  • the major components and their relationships;
  • the practical barriers preventing movement;
  • the decisions that must be made now; and
  • the possibilities that should be preserved for a later horizon.

The information gathered is then studied, organised and translated into a professionally structured Founder Systems Blueprint.

What the Founder Receives

Each completed Sprint includes:

  • a pre-session founder questionnaire;
  • one 90-minute discovery and architecture session;
  • clarification of the central problem and intended outcome;
  • articulation of the founder’s vision and guiding principles;
  • a map of the venture’s principal components;
  • identification of key users, stakeholders or beneficiaries;
  • priorities, dependencies and immediate decisions;
  • a practical 90-day pathway;
  • one professionally written Founder Systems Blueprint; and
  • one reasonable refinement round.

The initial blueprint is ordinarily delivered within five business days following the working session and receipt of the required information.

The Blueprint’s Purpose

The completed blueprint provides the founder with a stable foundation from which the venture may be explained, examined and developed.

It may support future conversations with:

  • prospective collaborators;
  • technical specialists;
  • professional advisors;
  • developers and designers;
  • community or institutional partners;
  • funders or investors; and
  • members of the founding team.

The blueprint does not promise that every question will be answered.

Its purpose is to ensure that the right structure exists before more weight is placed upon it.

Introductory Engagement Fee

The introductory fee is:

NZ$750

Payment is divided into two stages:

  • NZ$375 engagement deposit before the working session is confirmed; and
  • NZ$375 final payment before release of the completed final blueprint.

The engagement includes one reasonable refinement round. Any substantial expansion or additional work will be discussed and agreed upon separately.

Clear Boundaries

The Founder Systems Blueprint Sprint is an early-stage systems-architecture and strategic-clarity service.

It does not include:

  • legal, accounting, tax or investment advice;
  • technical engineering or software development;
  • a complete business plan or detailed financial modelling;
  • grant writing or guaranteed access to funding;
  • implementation or ongoing project management;
  • regulated professional advice; or
  • unlimited revisions.

Where specialist knowledge is required, the blueprint may help identify the appropriate questions and areas requiring professional examination.

The client retains ownership of their underlying idea, venture, information and pre-existing intellectual property.

Fulmen Amethystinum retains ownership of its underlying consulting methods, templates and independently developed frameworks.

About Fulmen Amethystinum

Fulmen Amethystinum is the systems-origination division of Onyx Horizon Systems Ltd.

Its work begins where complex problems, emerging ideas and institutional possibilities have not yet been given a coherent form.

Through its Consulting House, Officina Fulminis, Fulmen Amethystinum helps founders and organisations observe the whole field, identify the essential structure and establish a sound pathway forward.

We do not seize the founder’s vision.

We help the founder see its architecture.

Not every idea requires a larger machine.

Sometimes it requires a clear table, a quiet room and the patience to place each piece where it belongs.
